Bethesda Mission provides a safe place for men and women in need of shelter, food, and clothing.  Choose from various serving opportunities at the men’s shelter, women’s shelter, or youth community center.

Mentor a student in grades 4-12 once a week at Center for Champions’ Rooted program. Center for Champions connects students with a Christian mentor and provides weekly activities so relationships can grow.

Welcome Refugee Neighbors to the Area

Serve with a team to offer friendship, resources and life skills mentoring to a refugee family resettling in the Mechanicsburg area. Welcome teams come alongside a family for their first year of rebuilding their lives and establishing self-sufficiency in a new community.

Help form a Neighboring Volunteer Group, 6 to 10 people, committing to love a single parent facing homelessness. Offer emotional support, encouragement, and invitation into the life of a faith community as the family participates in Bridge of Hope’s 18-24 month program.
