We love celebrating baptism as a church family! It’s a time when we get a concentrated dose of how God has the power to save and transform lives. These Sunday services remind us what a joyful thing it is to be saved by the grace of God and brought into His family. It’s easy for us to forget that God is always on the move, but during our baptism celebration, we remember that nothing is too difficult for him.
Baptisms will take place at both of our services at 9 & 10:45 a.m. outside on the West Lawn. Both services will be live-streamed. Please plan to bring something to sit on. Following the 10:45 a.m. service, we will have a church picnic with food trucks, or feel free to pack a lunch!
Ready To Be Baptized?
Baptism is an outward expression of an inward confession of a relationship with Jesus Christ! When you register, you will select a class to attend where we will explain the significance of baptism and one of our elders will hear faith story. As you consider and prepare, read this booklet.
Children Wanting to Be Baptized
Children who have accepted Jesus Christ as their Savior and understand the meaning and purpose of baptism are welcome to be baptized. There is no minimum age requirement a child to be baptized, but it is strongly recommended that children wait until they are old enough to experience the impact and remembrance of the event.
First read this booklet and discuss it with your child, to make sure that your child understands the meaning and purpose of baptism. Then if your child is ready, please schedule an interview Pastor Terry
(Please Note: Children do not have to attend the church-wide baptism classes.)
