Men's Ministry
Men’s Ministry exists to help men connect, build meaningful relationships, and grow stronger in faith together. Our goal is to encourage and support one another while pointing to the hope we have in Christ.
Our theme verse reminds us of the foundation we stand on:
1 Corinthians 16:13-14
“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.”
We pray that every man will live out these words daily, walking in strength and love as followers of Jesus.

Shaping Arrows: Helping Children Understand Biblical Sexuality
In this 4-week class, Senior High Pastor Russ Allen will articulate God’s design for gender and sex, responses to cultural criticisms of the biblical sexual ethic, and guiding principles for discussing these topics with your children and teens.
Junior and Senior High Students are welcome to join our Sunday School Bible Study in the Student Cafe during the same timeframe.

Cave of Secrets: Marriage Ministry Escape Room
Ready to try an Escape Room, right here in church? Work as a team to discover clues and solve puzzles before the time runs out! This couples-only escape room is for all levels of skill and experience and is a great way to fellowship with other couples in the church.
60-minute timeslots: Fri, Jan. 23 @ 5 – 9 p.m. | Sat, Jan. 24 @ 9:30 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Valiant Man Weekend Intensive
Step into a weekend designed to help men pursue sexual integrity and freedom. The Valiant Man Intensive offers practical tools, biblical truth, and the support of like-minded brothers in Christ for living with strength and purity.

Men’s Hot Breakfast
Join us for a delicious hot breakfast, great conversation, and studying God’s word together. This year’s theme is Biblical Manhood as it relates to the culture around us, so come prepared to be challenged and encouraged. This event is for men 18 and older.

Men’s Bible Study
This year, we will be focusing on the Virtues of Biblical Manhood. We’ll talk about godly manhood and the character and attributes of God, while addressing current events and obstacles men face. All men are invited to attend as you are and as often as you are able.

Valiant Man
Are you seeking truth and a disciplined life? As men of the church, we are called to push back against the hyper-sexualized cultural tide. Valiant Man is a 10-week series that fosters healing, equipping and discipling men in the area of sexual integrity. This discipleship program challenges men to fortify their own personal, moral and spiritual vitality and trains facilitators to lead Valiant Man classes.

Alpha: A Place to Ask the Big Questions
Alpha is a safe space to explore life’s biggest questions in a friendly, honest and informal setting. This 11-week discussion group is an opportunity for anyone to explore spirituality from a Christian perspective. Each session includes a short film and conversation where you can share what you think with a small group of people who also have questions. We offer Alpha twice a year in the fall and spring.
Men’s LifeGroups
These small groups of four to eight men meet twice monthly to study the Bible and discuss life together. There are always opportunities to create a new group or to join with an existing one.

Meet our Men’s Ministry pastor
Nate joined the staff in 2007. In his current role, he helps couples thrive in their marriages and oversees men’s ministry.
Nate and his wife, Kim, reside in Mechanicsburg. They have two adult children, Joseph and Anna. For fun, Nate enjoys doing yard work, loves smelling Yankee candles and is a birdwatcher.
