Men's Ministry

Men’s Ministry exists to help men connect, build meaningful relationships, and grow stronger in faith together. Our goal is to encourage and support one another while pointing to the hope we have in Christ.

Our theme verse reminds us of the foundation we stand on:
1 Corinthians 16:13-14
“Be watchful, stand firm in the faith, act like men, be strong. Let all that you do be done in love.”

We pray that every man will live out these words daily, walking in strength and love as followers of Jesus.

GAME nIGHT

Think you’ve got what it takes to win? Put your strategy, teamwork, and luck to the test at Men’s Ministry Game Night. Gather around the table, meet some new friends, and enjoy an evening of friendly competition.

Fri, Oct. 9 @ 6:30 – 9 p.m. (Room 143)

Father-Daughter Hike

Dads and grandads are invited to bring their daughters and granddaughters (ages 8-16) to enjoy time together in the outdoors with the primary focus of growing deeper in their relationship as they make memories together. Come in appropriate attire with water bottles. Meet at the WSFC West Entrance at 2 p.m. to travel in your own vehicles to either White Rock or another nearby location. If the weather is questionable, a member of the Men’s Council will be at the church regardless at 2 p.m. to confirm the plans.

Couple’s Game Night

Take a break from your to-do list and have some fun with your spouse and friends! Bring a snack to share and your favorite game. This is a married couples only event.

Men’s Bible Study

This year, we will be studying Biblical Wisdom and how it shapes every area of a man’s life. Through Scripture, we’ll examine God’s wisdom, learn how to discern truth in a changing world, and discover practical ways to honor Him through our choices, character, and leadership. All men are welcome to join as often as you are able.

Valiant Man

Are you seeking truth and a disciplined life? As men of the church, we are called to push back against the hyper-sexualized cultural tide. Valiant Man is a 10-week series that fosters healing, equipping and discipling men in the area of sexual integrity. This discipleship program challenges men to fortify their own personal, moral and spiritual vitality and trains facilitators to lead Valiant Man classes.

Alpha: A Place to Ask the Big Questions

Alpha is a safe space to explore life’s biggest questions in a friendly, honest and informal setting. This 11-week discussion group is an opportunity for anyone to explore spirituality from a Christian perspective. Each session includes a short film and conversation where you can share what you think with a small group of people who also have questions. We offer Alpha twice a year in the fall and spring.

Men’s LifeGroups

These small groups of four to eight men meet twice monthly to study the Bible and discuss life together. There are always opportunities to create a new group or to join with an existing one.
