Membership at West Shore Free Church

Why Membership

From the time that the church first launched in the book of Acts, we see a display of brothers and sisters committing to doing life together as a church family. This life-on-life living is a vital way in which we grow in maturity in our faith. This model of the church has carried throughout time to our present day understanding of a church. It’s what we call “membership” today. Membership is our way of saying “yes” to this church body. Saying “yes” to doing life together as a church family. Saying “yes” to holding each other accountable as we grow in Christ. And our way of saying “yes, I’m all in at this church.” As the Lord leads, we hope you will join in with us. And if not here, then our hope is you will join in at a local church somewhere in which you can experience the life God has for you alongside others.

Membership Class

The first step in the membership process is to attend one of our membership classes.

In class you will:

• Gain an understanding of a Biblical Portrait of the local church
• Make connections with others
