Equipped: Supporting Children with Mental and Emotional Needs

An entertaining, creative and informative training to equip our church community leaders in creating a welcoming space that promotes healing and hope for all who enter. For leaders and teachers looking for a faith-based application and hands-on strategies training to connect with children who may struggle with mental and emotional needs, and more. Held by Cindy King, whose background is in elementary and special education and holds a masters in Human Services Counseling with a specialization in child development and parenting. Cindy holds certifications in trauma-informed care through the Post Institute and is a TBRI (Trust-Based Relational Intervention) Practitioner through the Karyn Purvis Institute in Child Development.
