Adopt-a-Verse is a powerful opportunity to help bring the Word of God to the Western Cham people in their own language.
In partnership with Wycliffe Bible Translators, our church is joining the mission to translate Scripture for a community that has never had access to the Bible in their native language. Our goal is to translate the books of Genesis, Exodus, 1 Samuel and 2 Samuel.
You can be part of this life-changing journey in two meaningful ways: each Sunday, stop by one of our Adopt-A-Verse stations in the lobby to sponsor one or more verses—just $35 per verse—or you can give directly to the campaign using the link below. Together, we can share the hope and truth of God’s Word with the Western Cham people—one verse at a time.
You Can Adopt-A-Verse In Person — It’s Easy and Impactful:
Your action directly helps bring Scripture to a people waiting to hear it in their own language!
Wycliffe is a global organization passionate about making God’s Word accessible to every language and every people group. Their work has helped millions receive the Bible in their native language for the first time. We’re thrilled to partner with them in bringing Scripture to the Western Cham people.
Over 20 years ago, our church helped plant and commission a local church in Cambodia—and that partnership continues to thrive today. Among Cambodia’s diverse population are the Western Cham, a predominantly Muslim people group. Yet, we’re witnessing God move in powerful ways as the gospel begins to take root and spread. We’re honored to support Bible translation efforts that will allow the Western Cham to hear God’s Word in their own language. To learn more about these beautiful people, visit the link below.
