Karmelo, originally from Croatia, has been serving in Bosnia for over 25 years. During the post-war years, while bringing aid to starving communities, God called him to long-term ministry in Bosnia. He was instrumental in establishing the Evangelical Church of Bosnia & Herzegovina as a denomination. He has served in multiple leadership roles at the national level, helping churches develop a Bible School, a camping ministry, a drug, and rehab center, and plant several churches over the years. Now Karmelo pastors the West Mostar church and Ivon is a local bilingual schoolteacher.
