What is Next Gen?
At West Shore Free Church, we believe that the Next Generation is not only the future of the church, but is a vital part of the church right now. We seek to partner with parents for deep comprehensive discipleship at every age stage. From birth into young adulthood.
Student Ministry
Our Student Ministry, grades 7-12, is all about discipleship and helping students take their next step with Jesus (whatever that is!)
Chidlren’s Ministry
Our Children’s Ministry, also known as Awesome Adventure, is for newborns through grade 6. We call it Awesome Adventure because everything about Jesus is awesome, and becoming like Him is an exciting, lifelong adventure!
Meet our Next Gen. Discipleship Pastor
Russ Allen joined the staff in 2018. As the Next Gen Discipleship Pastor, Russ preaches, teaches, and oversees the vision and strategy of all Next Gen ministries. He is the staff lead for College-Age and 11th-12th grade student, leader, and family discipleship. He is passionate about sharing the gospel with the next generation and leading them into a joy-filled, faithful walk with Christ.
