Honduras
July 24-Aug. 2
Education in rural Honduras faces challenges rooted in poverty, geographic isolation, and limited resources. Many rural communities have underfunded schools, teacher shortages, and inadequate infrastructure. They often lack electricity, internet, and basic learning materials. Because children are needed to contribute to household income, irregular attendance and high dropout rates are common. Our team of students will minister to children and youth in schools in the region of Morazan, offering day-long fun activities using high energy games, crafts, songs, and short Bible lessons.
Ways To Pray:
-
Pray for the team to stay strong, healthy, and fully invested throughout the long days of ministry.
-
Pray for friendship to be established quickly and for hearts to be open to the Gospel.
-
Pray that the Honduran students connecting with our team would feel loved, encouraged to trust God, and desire to have a lifelong relationship with Him through Christ.
