Current Programming

LifeGroups are the heart of our ministry. This is a place where students can form meaningful relationships with leaders and peers to help them grow in their walk with Christ.

Student LifeGroups

Sundays Evenings

Our Student LifeGroups are small groups where students  delve deeper into their relationship with God and with other students of the same gender and grade. LifeGroups discuss each teaching series, pray for one another, and walk the Christian life together. Adult, mature believers lead groups based upon Jesus’ own approach to discipleship – coordinating activities, communicating with parents and students, facilitating discussions, caring for students and modeling what it looks like to follow Jesus.

Mid-Week Bible Studies

Wednesdays 6:30-8:30 p.m.
JH in the Cafe  |  SH in the Lobby

This is a place for students to grow beyond Sundays. We want to see students’ relationship with Christ become a central aspect of their daily lives. Our mid-week touch points are opportunities for students to grow together, in the word, and their leadership. Adult leaders are there to encourage the group and help facilitate meaningful discussion as students lead the discussions. This is a great moment to stop, reflect, pray and read the Bible as a co-ed group of students.

Student Min Mornings

Sunday Mornings @ 10:15 a.m.

Student Min. Mornings is a place for students to connect with one another, learn what the Bible says and how to apply it to the challenges they face. After students attend the 9 a.m. service, they are invited to the Café at 10:15 a.m. for games, café snacks to buy, and plenty of space to hang out. At 10:40 a.m., we’ll separate into three groups (7th & 8th, 9th & 10th, and 11th &12th grades) for teaching and discussion tables. Using the Gospel Project Curriculum, students will learn not just what the Bible says, but how to apply it to challenges they face. The Gospel Project is also used by West Shore’s Awesome Adventure and Logos Learning Community so all members of the family can learn the same lesson each Sunday!

We will not have meetings on: 9/1, 10/13, 11/10, 12/1, 12/8, 12/22, 12/29

Sunday Night Live

Monthly on Sunday from 5-8 p.m.

“Sunday Night Live” (SNL) is a monthly gathering for all junior and senior high students.

This is a place to play crazy games (think, glowing dodgeballs and bubble soccer) hang out, eat food, worship with a live band, and hear a dynamic lesson. Junior and senior high students meet at the church together but engage in separate activities throughout the night.

Support the Student Ministry Scholarship fund and help get students and leaders to Harvey Cedars, Winter Retreat, and more! These events help students encounter Jesus in new and powerful ways, and we don’t want cost to get in the way. Help Students Deepen Their faith

  • Become a LifeGroup Leader

If you have a deep, passionate faith, are growing in your walk with God, and have a heart for students, we want YOU to consider joining our ministry as a LifeGroup leader. LifeGroup leaders get a front-row seat to see God at work in the lives of their students, as they disciple them in the Truth.

As a leader of a LifeGroup, you will partner with 1-2 other leaders to disciple and mentor a small group of guys or girls from a certain grade. If you are interested in finding out more, please submit an application. The application covers questions related to your faith journey, gathers information we need to begin processing clearances required by Pennsylvania law, and initiates a conversation with our Ministry Directors.

  • Become a Student Ministry Hero

If you want to get involved with our Student Ministry but don’t have the time to be a LifeGroup leader, please join the Student Ministry Heroes! As a “Hero,” you might be asked to help at specific events, in the student café, or donate food!  When needs arise, we’ll contact you to help.
